I'm a results-driven C-level executive with a strong record of leading change in global businesses and creating effective strategies for start-ups.


I've led talented teams and driven transformation as CMO or VP of marketing at companies like Microsoft and SAP, and for the last 9 years, worked independently as a fractional CxO, assisting various businesses in developing marketing and sales strategies, building top-tier processes, operations, and establishing new brands. I've also received awards for innovations in digital marketing & enablement.

  • What are your specialisms?

    Marketing:

    I specialize in marketing leadership with bias to centralization, strategy, planning, content transformation, brand recognition, and significantly scaling demand generation through operational excellence.


    Sales:

    I enable global sales organizations. From assessment and audits, to improvement strategies, optimized processes and depolying leading enablement or learning technologies.

  • What positions do you usually help with?

    I am usually contracted for marketing leadership positions, such as Chief (Marketing / Product / Brand / Enablement / Growth / Strategy) Officer roles. 


    Depending on client needs and structure, I also operate in specialised advisory roles, working alongside the incubant CxO assisting them with targeted projects or initiatives.

  • When might a fractional leader be useful?

    Fractional leaders are utilized for a variety of differing reasons, such as:


    • When you need a specific specialism you don't have
    • To cover a CxO term of abscence
    • When preparing to hire your first CXO
    • When permanent executive hires are too expensive
    • When fixed term contracts are preferred
    • To act as partner to inclumbant CxO
    • When you need to hire quickly
    • When you need a hands-on delivery focused leader

  • Fractional working arrangements

    Fractional leaders will work with you to decide how best to provide support, based upon the scope of work and your budget. This could be a for a set number of days per week or month, across a defined period of time.


    Additionally because we work with multiple clients, it is normal to agree specific work days well in advance, within the terms of the contract. 


    Lastly, fractional leaders will normally work to fit culturally within your business, whether travelling internationally for business, working at home, in-office or a hybrid mix of everything.

  • Is fractional the same as a consultant?
    A sign that says one day or day one

    Consultants typically provide expertise, advice, and strategies on specific projects for a set number of days. They guide organizations on how to improve performance but don't usually take on long-term roles or direct operational control.

     

    Fractional leaders, on the other hand, take on contracted part-time executive roles within a company. From day one, they will mange teams, handle ongoing responsibilities, make decisions, and drive strategy as if they were full-time leaders, but without the full-time commitment or cost.

     

    In essence, consultants offer guidance and recommendations, while fractional leaders are embedded in the organization, leading, executing and managing within their area of expertise.


  • Might you work with any of my competitors?

    No, once were are contracted to work together, I will not take on similar clients in the same sector, that are deemed to be competitive, at the same time.  


    Once our contract concludes and if there are no booked extentions, I may take engagements from such companies. 


    However, rest assured that all our work together will be covered through mutual NDA, completely compartmentalised and kept strictly confidential.
